I've been kicking around the idea of grabbing a small Opinel. Does anyone have a shot of a 2, 3, or 4 in hand? I'm thinking a 3 probably, but I'm not sure.

Here's a carbon number 2 I picked up on a trip in France this summer. It was the last Opi I needed to have all the sizes.

For reference here's a queen cattle king in hand.

The no 2 is cute but you probably get a lot more use out of a No 4.

Thanks. That gives me an idea of the size. This is just for fun, but I wasn't sure exactly how small it really was.

Yeah they're cheap enough to get for the novelty of them. The 2 would work well as a pipe cleaning knife and for small detail work like cutting coupons out of the paper. The 4 is a good size for a keychain and could handle a wider range of tasks. The 5 is still non locking and gets you up to a reasonable 3 finger watch pocket size for general utility. If I were home I'd post pics of all of them but I'm out of town till wednesday.

I bought a 2 for my wife, she uses it all the time. It's basically a folding scalpel. :)

Carried a no2 on my keys at work for a couple of years. That thing cut more zip ties than i can remember, opened lots of packages, well, in all, it did a lot. I gifted mine to a colleague when i left the place. Awesome little blade, and carbon steel on top of that.
