I am thinking of going to Blade Show 2015, and was wondering if anyone had any insight on if its worth the trip to go for a basic consumer and huge fan of Spyderco. I can't afford any high dollar knives, but wouldn't mind drooling. Is there a lot for a basic knife collector there? Do they sell less expensive knives as-well? Or is it mainly like a car show (just look). If anyone has any insight on what to expect or things to watch out for. Any info would be great. So far all I see video wise is super expensive knives that I unfortunately can't afford.

You can get anything you want there knife related you don't need a lot of money but it helps! I've been the last three years but it's easy for me I live 30min from the Cobb Galleria.

I have been the last three years as well and I really enjoy it. If you have a chance to go I think it is worth it. There are all kinds of sellers there and you can find just about anything. If nothing else it gives you a good chance to look at the knives you might have on your list and decide if they are stuff you are interested in, especially if you dont have a knife shop near you. Some sellers will even do trades as well as sales, depending on what you have.

I've been there 7 times, and it's an absolute blast! The Spyderco booth is busy, so be patient.

Just go and look. You don't have to buy anything. There's plenty to see and you get to meet many of the people behind the brands. That doesn't cost anything other than admission.

I live about 11 hours out. But with gas prices down would not mind a nice road trip. Would be great to be able to buy some stuff, cant leave empty handed! Ill have to save some cash up and splurge maybe.
