I was looking at the Swamp rat RATTLE HAWK and the design looks good for throwing but i was wondering if the steal was worth the price for a throwing axe, if i hit a nail or stone will it chip and fold like other steals? and will the handle shatter if hit wrong? i typically throw around estwings i go threw them like crazy.

It isn't a throwing axe, but it throws well. If you chopped a rock, it will not be damaged as badly as inferior steel, nor will you go through them like crazy.

The handle won't shatter, and if you manage to damage it at all, it is completely covered under warranty- no matter what you were doing to it.
