The Meadowlark probably...although the Flight looks good too.

The Meadowlark in G-10 is nice looking and I love G-10 but the newer version M2 in FRN has the full flat grind and bronze washers and jimping.

Anyone have one or both??? Preference?

**I just saw they have a Meadowlark 2 in G-10.

Solves that!

I've had a Meadowlark FRN, a Meadowlark in G10 and a Meadowlark 2 in FRN and a Meadowlark 2 in G10.

My favorite of the bunch is the FRN Meadowlark 2. Nice FFG blade and I prefer FRN over G10. Plus, at least in my examples the FRN is smoother opening and especially depressing the lock.
I actually gifted the M2 G10 because the G10 was just a little thick on the left hand side and the screw wouldn't bite into the liner. Since I like a lighter knife anyway, it was fine with me.

The Flight and the Crossbill are some really great knives for the price. I love the handle on those models. It's one of the most comfortable Byrd knives out there.

I've got the meadowlark saber grind stainless steel . Great knife . I swap this and a Delica 4 out for e.d.c. Good value .

Well, the G-10 Meadowlark 2 arrived today. Decent little knife it seems. Delicas are favorites and this has the same feel but with a choil.

One thing though is the blade is TIGHT. I loosened the pivot all the way till the screw almost came off and it never did loosen.

Is that normal? Does this have a pivot that isnt affected by screw tightness? I wouldnt think so...

Anyone have a tight Byrd??

I have a Byrd Flight g10 combo blade. It is about 10 days old. It was tight and I played with it almost every day and it started to get better. Then I realized that the screws were coming loose. I tightened up the screws and now it is tight again. I do like the knife at the price point:$17.99.

My Byrd count is now 3 I have two cara cara and one flight and have had zero problems. Great knives and plan on getting more as budget allows.

+1 for the Flight and Crossbill handle. I bought a Flight for my brother as a gift, but afterwards I almost regretted that I didn't keep it for myself (almost). I really would like a FFG Flight 2. I'd get that one instantly.
