Thinking about getting a Professional Soldier....

So I have been looking at the Professional Soldier and was wondering if anyone here has any opinions on it? It is a pretty simple (the design) knife and I think that is what is drawing me to it. Solid design and not a whole lot to fail when you need it most.

I was wondering what the sheath is like? The Chris Reeve web site only has one picture of it. Can it be mounted vertically, horizontally, inverted?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I too really want one. I actually saw a Krein Re-grind on here somewhere that was amazing! I contacted him, and plan to get on of my own done when the time comes. It looks awesome!

I also plan on getting a slim kydex sheath made for neck carry.

Pretty inexpensive, good steel, good looks, light weight, slim profile, plus a shackle wrench (you never know ;))

All I can really say is that I want one. I have never held one, nor seen one in person. But its a CRK so I know it will be of superb f & f.

I have had the Professional Soldier for about two years and I still love it just as much now as when I first got it. Its a great fixed blade knife for EDC. When I carry mine, I carry it in the stock sheath in my right front pocket. I like it much better than my Izula and its superior to the other skeletonized versions from other companies in my opinion.

Here is a review I did on the PS awhile back with lots of pics. Enjoy !
