I'm thinking of getting a elk scales 110 knife. I like the bone scales over the other scale options. (Have a ram horn knife and buffalo horn knife). Now looking at the elk 110 knife. I generally like the scales smoother rather than rough. Was curious how smooth the elk scaleswhere? Would like to see any pictures of elk 110s if possible. Thanks

Elk can be smooth like bone, ruff with bark, or some where in between. The folks here will give you some Elk scaled 110's to look at. If you are going to place an order with the Buck CS call in your order and tell them you want smooth matching scales.

[/URL]Thanks guys. The pictures helped. I actually ordered the elk 110 kinfe. Actually going to take the gamble and not call my preference in. Im satisfied with my other horn knives. I'm sure I'll be happy with what I do get. The pictures I've seen here the elk scales look really good
