Thinking about Green Beret 5.5" or NR Warrior

I like this knife more every day. I have no use for it other than collecting right now, but hopefully I'll take it camping or hiking eventually. The only thing I'm hesitant about is the serrations. I'm sure they're handy for soldiers, for which the knife is intended, but for a hiker/camper not so much.

So this is why I think I may like the Warrior more, plain edge and recurve. Any input?

I prefer the NR -- I while I like the serrations on the GB for working with rope, cord, etc., I prioritize the thumb ramp on the NR a bit higher. Lately, I'm reaching for my NR over my Mountaineer II and Sable IV (and I love these knives) for my camping/hiking needs.

I agree the NR has a little bit more of a comfortable grip but I like the 5.5 G.B blade style better, my .02
Good luck with your decision:thumbup:

BTW, my weight-lifting partner just chose the 5.5" GB over the NR -- he did NOT like the thumb ramp, preferred the blade shape, and enjoys the serrations. The preference split may be similar to that of the regular/classic sebbie.

I need to handle both. I bought my Mountaineer over the Shadow strictly on feel while I would have take the Shadow on looks. Of course there isn't a CRK dealer in AZ that I know of.
