The only problem with this advice is that a trend has taken over the exchange in recent years whereby sellers quickly remove the sales price and listed price so no one can know what the market value is.

The OP might be better off looking on eBay for the confirmed sales price of those knives.

I always leave the sales price up on my sales threads so that fellow forum members can see that price. If more people would do that, we'd have a much more consumer friendly forum.

For me - habit. When I bought and sold basses that cost several hundred/thousand dollars buyers typically wanted the price removed especially if they received a good deal on it.
 
I don't get it either. Don’t wanna sound rude but it’s not like real estate investment properties it’s knives! So just the price up. I’ve listed several and no where to start on listing the price due to this.
