thinkin of letting this one go its never been used before with the exception of being pushed through an old peice of plywood and it has some marks on the blade as a result. what would be a fair asking price? i bought it new from chris reeve knives about 6 months ago. also is this knife a fairly popular model never really heard that much about it. also my apologies if this is an inapropriate thread for this particular forum, i didn't want to put anything in the exchange until i was certain of my next move.

My suggestion would be to search the "for sale" forum and see what they have been selling for. Some sell at a fair price vs new and some for what I would consider a steel for that knife. Alot depends if there is someone out there who is really anxious for one. Sometimes timing is everything...

i tried that first i couldn't get any threads to come up for "green beret " or "yarbrough" but i'll try again later though

As a basic member of BFC you are not allowed to sell in The Exchange. You can trade only but do not post a trade value. That is not allowed either. Upgrade to a Gold or Platinum Membership and then you can sell. If you are found to be selling in The Exchange you run the risk of being banned for failure to follow the rules of the forum.

thanks for the information i really appreciate it, i had no idea that i wasn't allowed to sell on the exchange and i definitely do not wish to be banned from BFC. so ebay it is.

WVHILLS: Upgrade your membership! It IS worth it! I am happy to help support such a wonderful site such as BF. And if you don't want to do that, you are allowed to TRADE your knife. Perhaps that there is another knife you might want instead?

Upgrade your membership and sell here. My dealings with people on Bladeforums have been MUCH better than on FleaBay. We tend to keep each other in line here. Plus, it supports the forums, which are pretty expensive to keep going.
