"It's been a long, cold, hard night, it'll be a colder
and harder day;
but maybe tonight the stars will come out and the
sun will be on its way;
and maybe we'll sleep tonight, and dream of
better days" - the McKrells

Great pics! Summer is great, but I am hoping for a long spring! Best fishing in the spring.

I love winter :D

But it seems you guys are really reminiscing..and for all the right reasons :thumbup:

I just want it to warm up enough I can take my baby out. It is survival related, a quick spin on the bike restores my sanity.

I'm ready to go here too, right now it's under about 6 or 7 ft of snow.

Not me, I'll take the cold over the heat any day! But don't worry, it will come soon enough...

bit of a mix for me, love the summer, hate the bugs, love the winter hate the cold.(-30 to -50*C)

Just a few weeks away

Nice avatar of the Templars! My helm comes off to you my fellow Knight! :thumbup:

Concerning the arrival of summer, I cannot wait. I am going right mad with the perpetual white-out. More often than not, the Rockies look lovely with a coat of snow, but this year, they are ALL WHITE, hardly a crack or crevace to be seen. The mountains have almost disappeared under the snow, so I look forward to seeing the various textures appear again once the snow starts to melt. Above and beyond this, it'll give my old bones a chance to go out and see what I have missed over the past few months! Even an old dog likes to be outside.

I agree completely... My favorite is fall no bugs and not too cold. but lately the weather on my side of Alberta has been quite nice. got to +10 in January!!! that's a record!

Just kiddin' man, I know what you mean, we had a chinook and got some really nice temps, melter the 5" of ice on the roads, and freed me from the house!:D

ah the warm weather...

winter camping is so much work, i yearn for the days of flopping on the ground in the sweet onion grass and falling asleep...

as much as i enjoy winter, i enjoy the summer even more. it is just so much easier to be outside, and it seems like there is so much more to do.

oh, and i can take the bike out again when the roads aren't choked with snow and ice anymore.
