Hello everyone in Busse forum.

I've heard alot good from Busse Knives. A fellow forumite is selling couple of Busse's and I am really looking a GameWarden as my first Busse knife. However its nearly double as much as I have ever paid from knife.

I'd like to hear some opinions from GameWarden owners about that knife. Any pictures and such generally would be greatly appreciate. I am kinda hesitating to pay approximately $250 from 2nd hand Busse with sheath, though it seems fair price (especially considering my county's knive prices generally). Its a lot money for me. Especially when I really don't need such knife... but I have weakspot for tank like knives which are backed good warranties.

"its nearly double as much as I have ever paid from knife"

Famous last words before your first Busse! Many have said that and then have 3 or 4 within the first month. I personally prefer the Active Duty to the Game Warden for a small Busse. If you do get a GW, I'd suggest one of the skinny ones.

Game warden is a great knife.
I cant tell you which knife to buy,
but I can tell you every Busse knife I have is fantastic
The warranty in second to none
(if you break it,they will fix it or replace it)

Just remember this, even if you decide the knife isnt
just right for you,you can resell it and get most,if not all
of your money back.
The Company website has the Boss Street on sale for like 230 NEW!

if you bought that, and in say 1 year you didnt love it,you could
offer it for sale and many times at a profit.

I've seen people get a FBM LE for their first Busse, now that'a knife! Busse has a great reputation and is a great knife so anything good in this world is not going to come cheap. I think it's worth the money but that's just my two cents=)

Only twice as much? My first Busse was 4 times as much as I had ever paid for a knife. I was pretty nervous waiting for it. I still have that one and way too many of its' friends and relatives. You pretty much can't go wrong with a Busse, if you don't like it you can always sell it for what you paid, especially with a sheath, and the Game Warden is one of the most popular models.

I have the Active Duty, Mean Street, and several different Game Wardens- which one I like best seems to depend on my mood when I pick them up- or maybe it's the phase of the moon, I don't know!

Just know that it won't be your last Busse- sadly, they are extremely addictive.

You'll never look at knives the same after you get a Busse...they are in a different class alltogether. The price tag always seems steep until you have one..then the only problem is figuring out how to save, or what to sell for that MOAB or a Custom Shop piece. :D The Boss Street would make a nice entry piece of Infi for anyone. If you don't like it I will give it a home for you. ;)

Game Wardens Rule!

Yeah, I figured out I need to have at least one busse. So I can say: I am incurable :D But Honestly, I have plenty good knives, but Busse is Busse. I'll see when I can save up enough money to acquire it. Heck, I know I was going to get it when I posted this thread. I was merely trying to decieve myself that someone in here could speak sense to me :D

I just picked up this Game Warden for an unreal price and love it! First one. Its easily carried daily and a great knife-although, I would recommend a BOSS STREET 1st as well. Can be had at a great price currently @ Busse Combat!

Don't think about it. Just buy the Warden. If you think about it, your going to end up spending 10 times what you ever have just because you will be looking at the warden, seeing the SFNO's, noticing the FFBM and so on. Two weeks from now the warden will be an after thought and you will be trying to figure out what you can sell off to buy a monster Busse. Thats what happened to me. Run. Now.

You are going to fit in here just fine!

Buy the warden. It's a bargain. Your next Busse will be five times as much as you ever paid. So enjoy

Really liked my warden, it was the first knife I bought that made me think ' this is something I'm gonna keep'. Oddly enough, I got rid of it for something with a little more blade

my Pumpkin warden was my 3rd Busse. I traded into a FBMLE first. Then bought a SS, then the GW, then a BAD, which I then traded for a CG ASH1.

Gw gets the most carry. I am at the office right now and it is clipped to the pocket.

Nice.

Hell yeah Dan, that's exactly what I did, jumped in head first and haven't thought to look back, and I hadn't even heard the saying "no regrets" in relation to Busse. I even got to BS with the "Janitor" on my first call into the shop.

Sorry OP, I don't have a Game Warden and can't comment. However I can assure you that you'll understand where the extra money goes and you WILL be back for more.

Cheers

The Game Warden is a fantastic knife. It was my first Busse and I now own a couple. I love them. They are a great size for EDC and skinning game.
