Hello everyone!

I am honestly thinking now after 7th week of my PM2 order to beginning thinkking to change my Para-Millie 2 into Millie with orange G10 handles, which are readily instock of my retailer as PM2's schedule is still: "Completely Open" Of course Millie is more expensive but its readily available and excellent knife. Might be even better choice for taking with me when camping and hiking. Orange would help locating knife also tad better, I guess.

It is hard choice. I got BM 940 Osbourne which has also 3.4" blade similar sized than PM2 and that is my EDC limit really for comfy carry, however I am not really thinking to EDC Para-Millie but rather getting sturdy folder for the woods.... which is not A/O. Perhaps Millie would make more sense? Currently getting both is not an option.

Oh, the choices....

I would go with the Mili for outdoor carry based solely on the orange G10 and blade length.

hey jamppa,
you can't go wrong in choosing a milie.
the size may seem big at first, but the knife shrinks after a while. very pocket friendly.
it makes a great outdoors knife as long as you use it sensibly.
later,

I have both and the Millie is my outdoor knife. The Para2 is my office knife because it is a bit less scary:rolleyes: and carries more discretely with the titanium low rider clip I put on it.

So I'd say get a Military and get the Para2 later.

I have been very impressed with the Military. It's a big knife that disappears in your pocket or waistband. Handle ergonomics are second to none. It is one of the few liner locks I trust and it cuts very well. Appreciably, I believe it will EDC just as well as the PM2.

Orange Military is my absolute favorite Spyderco knife. The size and simplicity are beyond perfect. Plus the orange helps make it easier to use in public.

Thanks everyone. I changed my order and orange g10 millie is heading my way :) I'll get PM2 later when they come more available here.

If you just can't wait & are ok with a big blade, it's a huge winner. There was a rumor of an updated Milli in the works. Anyone know more on that?

I've had both a black Millie and an Orange Millie and traded them both because I sort of panicked about our knife laws here. I regret it DEARLY! That is one damn good knife. I want, no need another!!!

The military will be the platform for the new stop lock that Sal patented. No ETA on this as far as I know it is not even in the immediate future.
