Thinking of buying a Chubby...

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the Chubby. I read the comparison of the Chubby vs. Techno. Even though I own a Techno, the Chubby still interests me. Do any Chubby owners have any complaints or comments?

Chubby is heavier, wider, and looks more 'obvious' when clipped inside the pocket. I have both, of course...

Which one is more cool? No idea, both are great! But Techno is easier to EDC in my opinion...

My suggestion: get Chubby and enjoy both :D

The Chubby is my next knife purchase. Looks small but super beefy. I dig it.

Is it made in Tai Chung ? Or Golden ?

I just returned my Chubby to BladeHQ i got it as a gift but i was not a fan of the pocket clip. The blade was definitely a beast and lock up was amazing. Techno is much better EDC for me the pocket clip is smooth and hides better. Techno is lighter as well. Guess it would depend on what you use it for. My use is mainly warehouse type stuff nothing too rough. Just my 2 Cents.

I handled one and did not like it. It is wide and bulky, plus the handle is too short. I recently picked up a Dice. I think it is a better knife in every way.

I dig my Burch Chubby. One stout little beast with typical Taichung precision.

I got one a few weeks ago and the more I handle it the more it is growing on me. The lockup is very solid. The Ti handle feels good in my hand. After flicking it open a few hundred times now it is really smooth and enjoyable to open. Although I had doubts about the blade shape it is working out quite well so far. The thickness of the blade was a bit odd to me when I first looked at it but now I really appreciate the feel of the weight that it has. Great little EDC.

Just handling mine today after using my Dice over the weekend, and I think this Chubby would be so much better with a Flipper! Probably would see a lot more pocket time for me... but that's just me thinking out loud. Still a great folder in its own right.
