Thinking of getting a Prybaby

I've read about these things for a while now, and now I think it would actually be helpful to have one of these, but I need to decide on what options I want/need. Should I get titanium or steel? If I get titanium, should I get the scalloped edges? I like anodizing, but how well does the color and pattern hold up under normal use? How much does the steel and titanium version weigh? I like the looks of the titanium with the scalloped edges on it, with anodizing. Anyway, input is appreciated!

I went for the Ti just because it is so much cooler than plain old steel. It is a real feather weight item too, but on such a small piece I doubt it makes much real difference in weight.

The anodizing has been holding up just fine, and I carry it around with all of my keys and other junk. The most noticable wear is on the edges, especially the upper one where it rubs on my pocket.

Stop thinking and just get one. Mine is s30v, bead blastedclipped to my keyring. Doesn't stand out, no worries about the finish and very handy. I don't notice the weight at all. I will probably pick up an anodized ti model sometime but the large standard is a great tool.

JFDI.

I'd seen em before, and asked Peter before Christmas if he had any in.
He replied staright away, and when I got back from Holiday, I ordered on 6 January, and had in my hand on 12 January. In Scotland.

Nice tool, nice finish, will go on the tool keyring when I finished fondling it.Mine's plain s30V and it looks fine.

I'd recommend them (and Peter) wholeheartedly.

Mind you, a Kydex sheath for it. Now, that could be fun.

Do or do not, there is no think!

Get one. Peter has lots of S30V on hand, you'll have to contact him about the Ti. I've found the finish he's doing on the S30V to hold up quite well. The scallopes look cool, and I'm a big fan of the snakeskin pattern. Email Peter and talk with him about what he has on hand and what you'd like. You will be happy you did.

I have the steel version in a satin finish. Never any problems with scratches, etc. Truly a great piece of craftsmanship.
