Thinking of my Dad today

This is my first Father's Day without my dad. He was a very kind and loving father. I can remember the first knife he gave me when I was young and him teaching me how to whittle. I remember the first time he took me to smokey mountain knife works when I was 12 and I thought it was one of the best days ever. To be able to look at all those knives and then to be able to pick out a few that dad bought me.

Always took me hunting and we would spend nights on the creekbank checking our trot lines for catfish. I have his guns and knives but most of all I have the memories and will always feel the love he showed me. I love and miss you dad, thank you for everything.

Just wanted to share with you all.
 
Nice gesture :thumbup: I am sure he will appreciates it .... they may be lost .... but not forgotten.
