Thinner Becker Handles?

I've always admired the Becker knives, way back to the old original Companions. I don't own any, though. The only thing holding me back is the large grip. It seems to be a common problem for a lot of people. There are now even after-market micarta grips available for the Becker knives. The only problem with this is that it destroys one of the greatest things about these knives...VALUE!

I wouldn't mind paying $10-20 for a set of Becker grips made in the same stlye and material...only thinner. Surely the grips are the least expensive part of the knife and this would address the reservations of a lot of would-be buyers. ...if only they were available...

For a bit more the, knifemaker Bill
Siegle is offering ¼" G-10 scales with mounting hardware.

He has a post up in the "Fixed blade by maker forum"

At $55 it might seem too pricey but there ya go.

Cheers
