Looking for a super slicer to be used only to field dress deer etc. Maybe carving the occasional spear point but thats the "hardest" use it will ever see.

Thanks

The Ultralite Bushcrafter @ 0.09 inches, 3.2 inches long, and made with 3v. I just got one a little over a week ago, and put it to some light use yesterday cutting down California grape vines. They were woody and while not super thick the thin little blade was awesome. I have done a bunch of food prep with it - meat and veggies cutting - it slices like a champ. It only weighs 2.7oz too. I will be carrying this during my 2013 elk hunt.

The mini northstar was ground so thin that the edge dented splitting a thumb sized stick of cedar. I personally don't buy bark river anymore because of it.

The Mountain Man is very thin, .110" is what the descriptions say. Yet, on mine the entire blade is ground thinner than the tang. I love it, use it in the kitchen sometimes, it's a great slicer.
