What was the thinnest NMFBM offering, and how much did said offering weigh?
Thanks

Kfgk14,

I have two NMFBM's and I have never put them on a scale or anything but I think the thin one I have is about .23-.25 in thickness but again it has never been put on any kind of scale or ruler, I have another one which I got in a trade a while back that is about .276 in thickness and the weight difference is like day and night. So if you are concerned about the weight yes go for a thinner one if you can get it. For me the .276 is the thickest I will ever go because that is the weight limit for me, on the high end, but because I don't have a scale I can't give you exact weights.

The thinnest one I have ever heard of or seen was at Knob Creek Spring of 2011, it had a satin finish and came in on my mic at .24". There were two, one was a Black/Tan G10 and the other is a Custom Shop with G-rexed Buckeye Burl.

I bet my thin one is at least a .24 under the CG coating, because on a measure tape it says .25 " so if the coating was removed should be about .24 maybe?
