Just got a BK15 for exactly 35 dollars shipped. James wants me to EDC it and only it for a month to see how I like it, so the 30 days of EDC will most likely begin on Monday (Can't carry it this weekend).

That's aweso Dawso! You'll love the 15. Such a cool blade. And $35 shipped? Wow. Better than the $100 we pay over here. Trust me, JT is going to be disappointed that he's not getting another 15 because at the end of those 30 days (actually at the end of day 1) you'll realise how capable the 15 really is.

Thanks! I was surprised at how low I got it for too. And I don't think JT will be getting a knife, either. :D

Was hoping I'd be able to carry it over the weekend but I don't want to take a chance on getting it taken by a cop or anything.
 
That's a deal. Picked one up also. :thumbup: Wish the BK5 would have still been in stock. Beekay you have to pay $100 over there for a 15!?:eek: That's rough. Ain't easy being a BH sometimes.
 
Good score, Nos! I had to close the site. Too many temptations there right now.... That and I still need to get the new off of a few of my knives.

Yeah Ulf. It sucks. The supplier has to cover things like importing and stuff so I see why theres a mark up, I guess. Just means I'm a more hardcore Becker fan than you lot! Snark!! :D
 
Surprising how few BK15 reviews are out there now that I look. :(

I'll fix that after I've used mine a bit, JT is gonna get me to EDC it and only it for 30 days and I'll update a (new, not this one) thread with thoughts on the knife, how I like it, what I did with it, etc. almost every day, and at the end of the 30 days I'll write a final (and fairly long) review to put alongside the daily log. :thumbup:
 
15 has always been my favorite BK to carry at all times. Well, I did just get a 16, so we'll see if it remains. Regardless, for that price might as well get 2 right? Don't forget to put those pics up when it comes in (know u will). until then, here's another torture pic just to keep ya on edge.....

That's a good question... I know people have had runs of copper Corby bolts made, but I'm not sure about standard bolts/nuts. That would look pretty sweet, though, especially against the brown scales or nice figured wood.

ETA a cursory google search reveals that yes indeed, there are copper fasteners out there.

I'm looking forward to them myself. :D I might go up on the mountain and spend a night or two in the cabin during the 30 days just to see what all it can do.

That's pretty cool. I might buy some sometime.
 
Copper hardware is notoriously easy to strip the threads. Beware. If it were a good idea, I would've done it already. Copper is me favorite metal. Aesthetically speaking
