Just finished making myself a new user.
The sheath was made for a small damascus knife I made and then sold. As the buyer was right handed and I'm a lefty I had to make a new sheath.
Then came a little drop point. Once again sold. Once again, new sheath needed. A couple of weeks back I made another, used it once and then sold it. Yep, new sheath needed!
This time I'm keeping it! Heres the info;
3 1/4" saw blade steel blade. Flat ground with convex edge.
7 1/4" overall
Tufnol handle
301 stainless fittings
I've really enjoyed working with stainless after using brass for a long time. Its obviously harder, but more fun/challenging. And I'm pleased with the more modern look it gives.
A rather sheepish thank you to Steven Garsson is due for giving me the kick up the arse/ass (depending on where you're from!) to start using it;) Cheers!

I'm just here to help, sir!:)

Looks good, I especially like the butt plate.

Best Regards,

I think stainless is the perfect material for a guard.

This knife looks really good, and so does the sheath.

sheath is awesome. Nice knife too.

Thanks for your comments:D
It's weird that the response of most of the people I've shown it to locally who either own or have ordered one of my knives has been rather luke warm:confused: Several have said brass looks "warmer" or more traditional.
Mind you, I do live in an area which is genarally pretty old fashioned. ;)
Personally I think I'll be using alot more stainless in the future.
Cheers,

Ian
