Details: Steel is 01, 1/8th inch thick. Blade length, 4 inches. Handle is natural canvas Micarta over a red G-10 spacer over black paper Micarta.

This is one of the best piece's I've seen and by far the best I've owned. And the guy's been making knives for only a few months. He made the sheath as well. His third knife! (His first two are pretty impressive as well.)

What do you think?

Looks like he's a fan of Andy Roy's work. Good job for a third knife. Heck, good job for a 30th knife.

I think Andy makes some of the best blades out there. He and Dylan Fletcher make perfect little bushcrafty style knives. So when my friend started making these I was pretty excited.

can we get this guys name and contact info?

I'll leave it to the maker to tell you that. He gave me this knife to test, I don't think he's taking orders, but like I said, I'll let him contact you if he is.

I wanted to post these pictures to showcase the work, not necessarily the "worker". ;)

Looks pretty damned good to me! I'd like to know about the ht but other than that all I can say is... NICE!!!!

The knife was made completely at his place, all except the heat treat, which was done at a friend's.

I'm sure he'd like to own a nice oven some day, but for now... :)

Ok, so I talked the maker into fessing up...

It's Jared Oeser.

I'll post the pics of his marks on the knife and sheath later this evening.

He's coming up with some other designs that are pretty rad.

(That's right, I said "rad".)

Wow, wish my third knife looked like that. Very nice, lovin the hole layout and use of materials. looks like one you could used every day.

Yow, that's fantastic.
I'm up to 17 or so and have a long way to go to reach that level...
