third knife

this is another cable damascus i made this from cable that max sent me it welds up nice mike cooper gave me the handles wich were soaked in minwax woodhardener and the finish is super glue the file work is the vine pattern what do you think

Hey Russ, nice knife! I never have made a real knife with any of that cable yet. Not really set up for making damascus yet. Besides, I think I might have poisoned my forge accidentally. Not sure how just yet. Haven't been able to weld anything in a few weeks. Maybe I'm just not holding my mouth right.

Anyway, great work! Keep it up. Glad the cable worked out for you.
 
That is a great looking knife! And only your third? That is even greater! I can only hope that my third looks anywhere as good as that. Great job

thanks for all the kind word i just recently sold it for 150.00 my dad said theres a friend of the family that want a hunter made i quoated him a price of 250.00 he said he would pay it. everthings coming together
