Nice little combination of "this" W and "that" W.
A W2 blade forged up and selectively hardened with clay for a little "Illinois Hamon".
I had made a Ws Bowie some while back and had a piece left over that I used for the fittings.
I did a flip-flop on the pieces used for the guard and fluted collar so the Ws layers were opposed.
Then, deeply etched and hot blued.
Topped off with a piece of stabilized Cottonwood Burl for the take-down handle.
Finial hot-blued as well.
Ready to ship off to the new owner.
