That's pretty cool about that guys knife that was with him through Vietnam. I wonder what kind it was? :)

The vietnam knife was, if I remember right, a 110. My rework man at the time was Efren Reyes, and you have to know that if Efren could not fix it, if I had to bring it to Wilde Bill, the knife was in bad shape!
 
That's pretty cool. 110's kick butt. It's hard for me to believe the history of the 110 and that they are still around and used a great deal.

Not to be critical, mind you...but I can't help but wonder...why are you looking at old San Diego news stories when you live in Washington??? :confused:

Every time I read my old town's newspaper it depresses me...friends' kids arrested...school chums died...politicians indicted...cherished places demolished...assaults and murders on the rise...more plants/stores/companies closing...snow in the forecast...Yankees lose another one... :( :eek: :p

OK Mr. Trax.....It's not as much nostalgia as it is SPORTS. I still follow the Padres and Chargers and so I have the sports section of the Tribune bookmmarked and check it almost daily for Padre and Charger related stories. If you'll notice, the last Buck story is from the sports section. I just came across it as I was checking out the sport section. It's not like I check the obituaries. :eek: :p :rolleyes: :eek: :p :rolleyes:
