That's pretty cool. Who knew Coke put their name on something like that. Very cool find, thanks for sharing.

Very cool, I love hatchets and coca-cola, who knew I could have them together!? How did you come across that?

As an ex-Coca-Cola employee, and collector of many things Coke, I have never seen a Coke Axe. Plenty of Coke knives of all descriptions, but never an axe.

I thought I had seen every Coke collectable. I sold a tremendous number of them when MF and I had an antique business. Thanks for sharing.

Great find. Looking forward to pics after the spa treatment.

Very nice! I have heard of these but this is the first one I've seen. I think I read somewhere that Plumb was the company that made these.

Gee Very Nice hatchet.

I saw one about like that a few months back. may have even had a custom black tape handle 'bout like that.

Keep the original handle, I Love It

Pat

P.S I also got out bid by some one.

"Although not always specifically marked, indications are that Plumb was the company that manufactured most advertising hatchets. At least four companies providing such hatchets were major shoe distributors. Others were Coca Cola,..."
from American Axe History

Plumb is one of my favorite axe makers.
their tools are very good quality.

I find it interesting that they seem to have stamped the "for sportsmen" with single letter stamps. Notice the 5 shaped s is the same on the Shapleigh hatchet but the layout is different frome the Coke hatchet. That would be a pain in the ass to do on every piece.
