Almost bought a bradley alias 2, was outbid by 3 dollars. I can feel the withdraw symptoms kicking in already...

Yes it is! But it's worse when you get a knife you dropped alot cash on it's a total dissapointment. Not even out of highschool and I have at least two thousand dollars into knives expensive addiction also.

Yep, I know that feeling as well too. I lost a NIB Spyderco Endura in ATS-55 by $2 today. Not as pricey as the Alias II, but just the rarity of that knife and almost having it. :( Better luck next time.

Wait until you discover the wonderful world of ARs and hand guns.

Actually most of my guns are pretty nice (khar handgun and springfield long gun) but even tricked out it doesnt hold a candle to my knife collection im not even half way through my twenties and by eating ramen and doing odd jobs and the like i have a knife collection thats in excess of 20 grand.

I'm a veteran and i love guns but they just dont give me the joy that knivges do. Im much more practical about guns. I have a mossberg 500 for home defense a khar cw9 for carry. A springfield xdm for and outdoors sidearm. Eventually i want one of the new keltec bullpup to replace the mossberg and a FAL or m14 scout for a beater feild gun and a 10/22 for cheap practice (and when i graduate college a custom 1911 just beacause they are art) but after those purchases i cant ever see me purchasing another gun in my life. Kind of like how you can really get by with just a few knives. some people just dont lust after guns the same way even if they like them. Now if you were talking watches........

Actually an AR is the next thing on my list. Along with a sebenza a smf and a zt 302.

I agree with razorsdescent, I own a 1911, an old 22 rifle I've had since I was a kid and I will eventually purchase a AR-15 because I miss firing my M-16 from my Marine corps days but theres no comparison to my love of knives. It's amazing how varied they really are when they look like such a simple thing.
