That is all.

well, if you really feel like you have too many, I could be talked into accepting the Mk1 since it's obviously not getting enough love... :D

I would send that character a thank-you letter. ;o

Indeed. He does deserve a huge thank you for taking the time to indulge a small group of knuts.

It's not as neglected as it looks, it just hasn't been driven through any firewood yet. :D

Beckers don't come alive until you do that, i thought you knew that ? LOL :D

what is the one on the end with the stacked leather handle next to the ka-bar?

it's..... another Ka-bar. The Mk-1.
Everything in that picture is made by Ka-bar, or at least some generation of it has been (a couple of those Beckers look pre-Ka-bar).

That Mk 1 is a sweet knife. I was lucky enough to check it out this past weekend at the WNY get together, and now I MUST own one.

I guess I should have done a roll call. Left to right: Grass Machete, Cutlass Machete, KaFilet - all designed by Toooj. BK2, BK4(bead blasted), BK11, BK77, BK9(Camillus, painted), BK9(Kabar), BKs14, 15 and 16. Ka Bar 1217 USMC knife, Ka Bar MK1. The photo is peppered with a few BK13s, as well.

Have you had any problems with the beadblasted 4 rusting quicker than usual? I recently bought an air compressor and plan to sandblast some blades but have heard sandblasted carbon steel is a nightmare to maintain.

Not yet, but I keep it pretty well protected with a coat of Rust Free. Toooj was saying bead blasting is slightly better than sand blasting when it comes to corrosion. It has to do with the shape of the blast material. The glass beads being round, instead of faceted like sand, create a slightly smoother surface, or something along those lines. So far though, no rust.
