Is that one of those megaFATweilers? I had my doubts about the thickness so I didn’t bite. Been waiting on a firsthand report on how that compound grind and mega fatness worked out.

Does it actually cut things well? I know it’s pretty much a dedicated chopper, but I like even my choppers to be able to cut well if it’s all I have with me.

Copy that. How does it cut? Is it more of a wedge with a handle, or can you cut stuff decently with it? No diss against the company - everybody knows I’m a bigtime Busse and kin supporter.

I was just floored by the mega thickness. My first thought was “I guess they have some errant .350 stock and have to use it up. This can’t be on purpose.”

Honestly didn’t think they’d chop very well either, but I’ll take your word for it.

I only split some logs... I like the short blade but it has girth to it.
