I thought it might be good to start a new one so...

I've been standing out in the Jersey cold and trying to get in smoking time.
Last night I had an Excalibur 1066 Merlin.
Nice smoke, full-bodied and good tasting. I think I need to get some more Excalibur's. :D

So, what are you smoking?

Yesterday I paddled my kayak upstream for a good hour and then I let the current take me home while I smoked an Ashton VSG belicoso.

It was sunny and about 84 degrees outside. I was within ten feet of several dolphin and I saw a few bald eagles and many osprey.

Today I think I am going to have a Winston Churchill Marrakesh and sit in the pool (after work).

:D

Smoked a Maria Guererro the other day in front of my fraternity house with a brother. We both recently got into cigars and this is one of our favorites, so far.

Wow "about 84 degrees outside" I got to go to Florida to smoke in the winter :)

I ride a motorcycle, and love to ride down the road and watch the river flowing. To be on the river and smoking a good cigar, now that's sweet!

Stood out under a covered porch to watch the Thunderstorm come through last evening while enjoying a Don Lino Africa stogie. (One of my new favorites, medium body with an earthy flavor.) Fantastic lightening show and the clouds we moving through very quickly.

My favorite by far is the Drew Estate Naturals Dirt. Around $4.50 each. So smooth and sweet. Very flavorful and even burning. My favorite thing is sitting in the park with my friends, two dirts and a good beer.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good cigar, and have a fair collection of vintages and Cubans, but for some reason I keep going back to Backwoods black aromatics!

I've met a lot of cigar snobs who actively put down the cheaper brands, but I think you like what you like.

One tip that works for me is to only smoke cigars when you are happy and comfortable. That way I associate a cigar with good times and enjoy it 10 times more.

Words to live by! I only drink during good times as well.

Last night I enjoyed a Hoyo De Monerrey Dark Sumatra, smoked outside of my house. Real good smoke, pretty dam cold in Jersey, but I had my smoke for almost an hour. Came in and defrosted myself.

Anyone ever tried La Princesa De Cuba Cigars? I'm having a small get together on opening day for Baseball and I was thinking about treating everyone to a nice cigar.
