I found this on the big auction site........

They clone everything dude, there's even companies that have affiliations with "cloners"...
Ie. Custom knife factory

Clones aren't going anywhere, it's almost like a grey-market. Just buy from reputable sources, and this shouldn't be an issue.

I don't buy much from that site any more. I agree 100%.

If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. I'm also of the opinion that eBay is the last place that I would want to buy a knife from.

Looks pretty close to me doesn't it. What's troubling is when an uninformed buyer purchases one of these copies, it could sour them on the particular brand forever and without true cause.

You know you make a good product when people start copying it. And ESEE certainly makes great knives

The color is off, but that could be the pics. I'm sure holding both side by side there will be definite differences.

Just wait. Some guy will review one of these and claim for the money they are better than the original.

Esee knives have been counterfeited for a while now.

Yup, some idiot is gonna do a review and post it up here. Hope it crumbles in hand and takes off a finger....

Boko Haram is disturbing.
ISIS is disturbing.
Pizza Boomerang is disturbing.

This is just... disappointing?? :p

After all the counterfeit discussions, I looked around on Aliexpress to see what's there. I did see these. The funny thing is all the stuff I didn't see. I believe these were the the only ESEE models. There was some Busse, CRK, Microtech, Strider, Spyderco, but a lot of models and brands you might expect weren't being copied.
