Wifie has become numb to my knife hobby. Shocker. But last night as I was wiping down my Busse knives, she said, "those are beautiful knives." :eek:
That statement is HUGE!! :thumbup::D
 
My huge Busse moment was when someone asked if my fiance's orange/black High Street was for sale, and she said no way was she giving up her Busse. I've got her hooked on INFI now :D
 
resinwife has a Flame Warden and a Pumpkin Warden, and resingirl got a HACK last Christmas.

Pfft. My wife said that of my FIRST Busse. And every one there-after. I get the occassional, "And what did that cost?" Thankfully, it's usually after I just sold a bunch to fund the expensive one. LOL
 
My wife shows moderate interest to appease me, she's not a knifer. More of an enabler.
 
My wife got a Flame Warden on Valentine's Day.

You know... 'cause I'm a hunka' hunka' burnin' love. :p

I have undertaken a different approach. I have purchased so many knives that Mrs. Powernoodle cannot discern when I have a new one. After one reaches a critical mass, the knives all look more or less the same to a non-believer.
 
I don't have a wife, I can't afford one, it would mean I would have to have less knives... jk
 
Never found a keeper yet myself so I will continue to be single until that happens. :)

After 2 marriages and divorces I am pretty much done. ;)

I think the main reason my wife permits my habit is that it gives her cover to keep spending on her jewelry making hobby (not quite a business yet).
 
I don't have a wife so I can buy all the knives I want... Crap... Then again, I'm a college student so I can't buy any knives. I think I just found out what it is like to be married :( hahaha
