Nice hiking partner! I took the course to get my license in falconry but after more research decided not to go further into hawking because of the commitment needed. Would love to go out with you and big bird some time what kind of bird is it?

It would be cool though. I used to rehabilitate birds of prey in Mississippi, Awesome survivalists! My ultimate dream vacation is hunting with the Kazakh Eagle hunters in Mongolia. Could you imagine having a Golden Eagle as a hunting partner?

I'd get into falconry if i had a few million dollars lying around and 30 hours in my day... unfortunately the world turns the same speed for everyone and you need to put about 5 hours a day into training and maintaining your bird just to be ethical.

Yup that is why I didn't get into it. That time is spread out during the day.
