I started getting into blades in a more serious way about 6 months ago. The usual Benchmade, Spyderco, Chris Reeve, ESEE, Zero Tolerance etc. Well my wife and I went to the PA knife show last weekend and I bought my first Busse (a Custom Shop Urban Grudge) from Dan Huang. Very courteous to my wife and I, very knowledgeable about knives, overall a good buying experience. I will buy from him again. Anyhow, the problem is that these things keep drawing me in. I just ordered a Boss Jack Limited Edition from the Busse site (BTW...do these blades have jimping?), and I am already asking Dan about another. Now I find myself looking at the Swamp Rat and Scrapyard sites too.

This is not good at all.........;)

that doesn't sound good bro, especially for your bank account. Maybe you should check out some of the other dealers selections and prices--you never know, you might save hundreds of dollars--hint hint.

Any suggestions would be welcome...

Glad to hear that you are enjoying your new Busse! As ya may already know since you've been a member here for a few years...This forum and it's For Sale Exchange is the biggest, most central location for HOGs to meet, chat, buy, trade and sell Busse knives. :)

The "Search This Forum" function on this discussion forum and on the Busse Exchange are definitely your friend(s).

Good Hunting! :)

Any suggestions would be welcome...

Attend the 2 big shows busse hits (knob & blade), buy direct on the sites or have a bit of patience and stalk the exchange for fair prices

Welcome to the madness, I use to collect the small folders until I sniffed INFI dust my first time.

You ain't alone...I just bought a second B7, why? I have no coherent answer...

My suggestion would be to send me the ones you have so far and count your blessings as it will save you thousands. Then cancel you Internet service and smart phone service. I will only charge you the ones you have so far for providing this advise.

This is excellent advice.

You really DO NOT want to buy any more.....it is bad for you...just leave them for the rest of us to suffer with... ;)

This is really not good. You know why? Because after the Urban Grudge and the BOSS Jack LE you URGENTLY need a Battle Mistress and a HHFSH :D

Welcome to the madness!

ARGGH!!!! I have no idea about the specs on either of those blades, or what they look like. SO WHY ON EARTH DO I AGREE WITH YOU?!?!?!:D

So is there a place where I could go to see all the models, and their specs at one time?

Nice start to the addiction!! it only gets deeper from here on now, especially after you get the Boss Jack LE in hand...

How about some pics of the Urban Grunge? :)

Now wait a minute guy's. A INFI addiction in it'self is not such a bad thing if you have the fund's and a understanding wife. It's when you don't have the aforementioned, but have the addiction, that drives you crazy and leaves you........................well...................wanting :( Consider yourself warned :)

Ken,
I didn't see the Urban Grudge listed on any of those sites...will post a picture of it this afternoon.

Super X,
Funds mostly, understanding wife, always! :D

mrsoeil,
Going against my better judgement here....what is a ganzaaa?

Wow, Steve. I think we are in very similar boats.

Just discovered this stuff a couple weeks ago...have a boss jack ordered, a Rucki from swamp rat, and just bought a ratmanduex le from another forum user. At least our wives are cool about it.

And I second the question.....Ganzaaa?

ganzaa is not a knife name but a quite unique event/process of ordering INFI here on the boards. i'll let my elder HOGS elaborate. i just experienced my first one for the Basic 10 LE.

I'm smelling a INFI junky here already!!! Welcome to the madness Bro with the best steel and best friends out there. As stated Knob creek is a round the corner and Blade-Atlanta will be around the 1st week of June each year. There are shows and Ganza's here and there through the year so be patient and enjoy the experience.
