Well, I started the day with a Spyderco Ti Military in my pocket. I have never owned an Emerson and have been a little hesitant b/c of the liner-lock which has not been my favorite. After some YT videos and a search on Emerson's website for Prestige Dealers in GA I end up with this:

This is not how I thought this day would go but I have to say I'm :D for now! The bug hasn't officially bitten me yet but time will tell. Looking forward to getting to know some of you on the Emerson sub-forum!!

Nice score. The only problem is that you'll be loving the wave and the ergonomics.... while the fit and finish is "acceptable", I find most other folder pale in comparison to the feel in the hand.

Do try a CQC8 and a A-100 next :)

I know how it goes,....I just ordered my 5th Emerson today (production that is, not balling like sioncool.....yet):D

CQC8 is definitely on the list! I don't care much for the straight handles on the 7 or A-100 but they do look really nice.

I actually wasn't sure if I was going to like the A-100 either... it is rather plain looking. But the more I handle it, the more it grew on me. The "neutral" grip and spear point are really useful .

My CQC7V should be arriving next week so I can see what the fuss is about the 7!

I'm hearing a lot about the 7 but I just get myself to like the tanto for EDC. I have owned 2 other (BM and Spyderco) but just can't come to see them as very useful for my daily tasks. I had the chance to by the 7V yesterday but passed...maybe I should just drive back to the shop and get it!

Nice scores....I'm loving the CQC-10 that I picked up a week or so ago. It's been with me ever since. I'm not a fan of recurves, so the 10 is the one for me. Enjoy!
