My friends I fear my time here has come to an end.My company has merged with 2 others and I'm getting moved to another department with no access to a computer.I don't own a home cpu cause of the cost of the internet in my area.
I just want to say thank you to all of you for helping me with all of my questions over the past year and for greatly expanding my knowlage of knives.your all great people and I will miss this place tremendously.I wish all of you the best of luck and hope that you all stay safe till we meet again.

How about internet on the cell phone? About half of my bladeforums.com posting is actually done from my cell phone. It costs like $15/month.

And, there's internet at the library and at cafe's too.

The nice thing about internet is it doesn't take much CPU horsepower to get e-mail and surf the web. An old 400MHz system running Win98 will do ya just fine. You can pick such a thing up for a song.

What Gollnick said is very true, for instance I picked up a computer at a thrift store for ten bucks and used it to e-mail surf and to surf the web. It is dial up though.
