This is ridiculous. Anyone else guilty?

I just wanted to post this to help gauge my level of knife addiction. I think that this is ridiculous and wonder if anyone else has this problem, or has a thumb that looks like this....

I mean, having a two hour commute everyday is killing the surface of my thumb. But hey, I don't have any roadrage! Just driving quietly and calmly flicking my _________(fill in the blank) and generally mellowing out, you know? I don't have a problem, do I?

At least the calluses are forming nicely

Looks like mine ^^ You should see my index finger. Side is all worn down from track ball and skin has been left and then grown thick due usage of Kershaw Flippers. Wound near nail from wicked sharp custom.

Never noticed spydiehole thingy. I think I see its starting to form myself, oh well, its still one of the best methods of opening knife. Your hands tell so much from you and your passions ^^

Dude, I like you!!1:thumbup::thumbup: I was getting a light bashing on the Chris reeve forum about driving and flicking...
I wouldn't go so far as to start a thread on it :D but I do the same thing (picture added) mostly CRK's and spydey's on the 1 hour drive in and the 1 hour drive home :)
You're perfectly normal if you'd be in my circles :) What the rest of the world thinks is up to them

Yup, I get different callouses depending on the knife I carry.
The Spyderco Military puts a nice long one across the width of your thumb.
Overuse of the Axis lock makes a good lump as well.

Driving and flicking... Guilty as charged.

I used to flick my knife in the car too. Then I thought of an airbag launched knife hitting my chest and gave that up. I have a Delica trainer I play with now.

I do not want to be lowered into my grave without any scars.

Thank you, Esav. I am pleased that some who read this understand.

Live large, bro!

That you can remember where the wear on your hands comes from shows that your addiction is still in its infancy. Once you've been good and hooked for a few years, you won't even notice such things, much less remember exactly how they got there. :D

Dallas, I couldn't tell from the pics.... are your forearms devoid of hair as well? My thumb looks that bad and my left forearm always naked.... It's kind of funny, no one outside of another knife person could even start to explain how those 2 symptoms would be linked. :D
