Wow, that is a beautiful piece of art!! The detail on that in something. That is very cool!! Did you sau that knife is $3,000.00?

yup, its 3100$ actually

I love the mermaid and the dolphin.
But imagine all the frame lock knives you could get for that money ;)

That is a work of art.
Would like to know if any of those people who say they always use their knives, even their most expensive knives would use one of these.

Sorry, I just don't think the carving is that good.
It's okay, but not worth that much.
IMO, the she-male merthing looks stoned. :D

My guess is that those folks wouldn't buy a knife like that in the first place. I estimate that you are paying about 90% of the price of that knife for the art, and that is just a waste in a user.

Now having posted that, there are probably people that would buy a knife like that and use it, just not very many.

It looks like one of those cheap knives you find at the flea market in the little wooden collector's boxes to me.

I think you misunderstood my post guys

I was hoping you could post pictures of your sexiest looking knives
I am not saying I have the best taste in the world

Its a matter of taste and there is no account for taste

There are certainly people out there who would buy a highly embelished knife and use it. They just tend to make a LOT of money. It's the same thing with firearms. All of my guns are plain with flat, non-reflective finishes. But when I go bird hunting, I see one or two people out there with fine doubles that probably cost as much as a luxury car. But put it in perspective. If you're pulling in seven figures, what's $60k for a shotgun? I figure it has to be the same way with knives.
