I've almost finished thinning out (only slightly), convexing and polishing up the edge on my new FBM. It's already shaving nicely, just needs a little finishing on the 1200 grit wet 'n dry, followed by a good stropping. I've only spent a short time on it really, here and there, as my wife decided yesterday that I was going to build a pond. The pond is nearly finished as well.
I've also been working on a small CRKT I've just got (for £5, couldn't resist). I've spent longer trying to get the edge on the CRKT than I have on the FBM; and I'm still not happy with it.
I'm amazed how easy it is to work with infi steel. I need more. MORE...
