So my 5 year old son has been admiring my BK14, and keeps wanting to see it and play with it. He's very high-energy, and the combination of him and a sharp blade wouldn't work out very well.
SO I was sitting here in my office, and decided to carve a BK14 for him out of a piece of red oak I had laying around. 4 episodes of Jericho on Netflix later, this is what I came up with:
It's thick, and of course not sharp. But it looks close enough for his purposes and should keep him happily poking away at a cardboard box for a while
