You suck!...LOL I want some snow here :( Still running round 50s daytime here  A couple of the ski resorts have finally started to get a couple trails open from making snow. Here's what we have. Pic taken on a quick afternoon hike today....

Well... your dog looks happy.
It's cold here in Ottawa, but no snow... yet. I was surprised to hear that Vancouver actually got snow. That's shocking. I'm sooooo NOT looking forward to winter. I'm a spring and fall kinda guy.
(My dad's in Duncan, BC. I wonder if he got snow?)

Wow! This is my first "winter" in New Mexico. My last 2 were in Montana and 3 in Alaska....

I went mountain biking today. Was a little warm in long sleeves, but thin tights over the knees were just right as the sun started to set.

I can drive up to 10k feet in an hour or two if I need a taste of winter.

Once again, we're experiencing an unseasonably warm November here in Central Wisconsin. Mild temps (40's) , light drizzle/rain. No snow on the ground at all in town; I imagine there's some left in low-lying areas and in the woods. (We've had exactly one decent snowfall so far this year.)

It's so weird to see deer hunters in orange sweatshirts and jeans... I'm sure nostalgia plays a part in this, but I swear I remember the winters of my youth being colder, coming earlier, and with more snow. Global warming or just a natural trend cycle? I'm not educated enough to say, but I do see a difference in my lifetime. (I just turned 36)

May I add, pit man, you're fortunate to have access to woods like that, and a couple friends to share it with :)

it's low to mid 30 degree's centergrade and about 70-85$ RH not a cloud in sight:) got to love the warm weather

Climate change is for real. You can argue all day about what causes it, but its easily documented that its happening.
The anecdotal reports I have heard seem to indicate the upper midwest is the most noticable. My dad grew up in Michigan, they don't ice skate there nearly as much as when he was a kid in the 40's.

Thanks, sometimes I wonder if I'm just hallucinating those memories of 2' snowdrifts in the middle of December... seriously, the winters here are VERY different from 20 or 30 years ago.

Same as you Pit Man. Absolutly georgeous here in Van! I love the snow!! Maybe I will take some pics tomorrow.

Will

yeesh. I agree with AJ. I'm ready for some snow up here in Maine! altho we usually do have snow by now, the past couple of winters have been relatively dry.

no pictures, but the other night we did have a winter weather warning for "freezing fog". I thought, wtf is freezing fog? I go outside and BAM! OH! that's freezing fog! crap! the fog was rolling in just as I was leaving. when I went down the front stairs my car was frost free. I get in my car and start it just as the fog rolls thru. and suddenly frost forms on my car. ack!

but yeah. I'm jealous. looks like your pups luv the snow.

Thanks for clarifying BlindedByTheLite because when I was reading it my first thought was "WTF is freezing fog" You descibed it perfectly and it now makes sense.

it was impressively cold. I'm sure most of us have been in a cold fog b4, but this was the first time I had ever heard of a winter weather warning for "freezing fog". it was almost scary. you could only see about a hundred feet. but when it passed over my car, the most feathery and wispy frost formed over the entire car. I could see it forming on the windows. it literally happened in a few blinks of the eye. then when I reached my destination I hopped out to discover it was covering the entire vehicle.

it was a thin and pale frost, so I could still drive, but if you were in a survival situation and that rolled thru, it would @ least be extremely unpleasant. it stiffened my jaw and froze my boogers. haha.

Here in Northern Canada, (Iqaluit) its supposed to hit -50 with the wind chill later today.
robably won't warm up too much until march.

i envy you all.. i live in south georgia. lowest its been this year was in the past three weeks, around 40 or so. no snow, actually warm this morning 60 right now. beautiful view aaron i wish i had somthing like that.

Fairly stable weather here in Quebec . Fair amount of rain. Not cold for the time of year. Snow can stay away for another month as far as I am concerned.
