I've been going to this festival every couple of years since I was...... can't remember..... at least 10. It's a lot of fun. Take your family, relax a little. I know there's even a blacksmith or two with a knife to look at. The last time I was there, I was looking at a knife on this blacksmith's table, and one of his assistants asked me: "Do you know what that's made of?"
Me: Spring steel, right? (my best guess)
assistant [wide-eyed]: How did you know that?
I felt pretty smug at that moment. LOL.

Used to go to it years ago. haven't bee n for 20 years or so.

A friend used to set up and do toll painting. She may still.

A good time, and great apple butter....

Probably could have picked up early Busse's if I'da known what I was lookin for back then.... :grumpy:

Apple butter rules!!!..... It goes great on bread w/mozzerela cheese.
A couple years ago though, I picked up some peach butter, man, THAT was awesome!

I just wanted to bring this back up, because it's good wholesome fun. The kind you don't get from watching TV. I'm sorry if it bringing it back up irritates anyone, but it's something you don't see often enough. Enjoy. Again, this festival is highly recommended by me!
