The crappy camera doesn't do this knife justice. Just got a little package from the Buck custom shop, courtesy of my lil Mrs. Seems she snuck this one round me for my birthday back in April. The knife is amazing and the Koa(ms?) handle looks very "warm".

I'm glad you two got married. With her giving you gifts like this I can see why you didn't let her get away. A great looking Buck Custom 110, nickle silver frame, finger grooves with pins. Whats the blade steel? Wish you two all the best. After carrying it a while tell us how your 110 performed. DM

the blade steel is S30V. She had a look at my knives and found most mine have that on it.:)

She definetley went through a lot of trouble for it, but she said the nice lady at buck was real helpful.

OK, great! Hope you enjoy using it for many years. A lot of guys talk about the fit and finish being really great on those customs. DM

That's are good looking Custom 110,you have a cool Wife for sure.A good way to break it in would be dressing some fresh Trout up in Ruidoso.:)

That's an awesome 110 they don't get any better than the custom shop the finger grooves add a lot of character IMO also the Koa wood looks amazing.

Your wife is as special as that Buck ! I bet that Kpa really looks good out in the sun . It's great to be a knife collector or in my case just an enthusiast, Because your familly always knows what to get you on your Birthday!

Not sure about dressing trout too soon, but she made me promise her it wouldnt be a safe queen. Hoping to rock it along on our first NM camping trip. Maybe Dog Canyon?

This is Sooo true!! My wife has it down and has been knowing for years that the Club brings out a fund raiser model just before Father's Day. One sure gift down.
Then the Club Knife comes out in Dec.. That takes care of another one of my gifts. Then should the club bring out one other model, well... Guess, what I'm getting for my birthday. No shopping, no hassle, just one e-mail to Larry or Jack, mail the check and I'm done-- Honey. Wonder if any other wife's read this Forum? ;) DM

I know where Dog Canyon is!! Watch its bad dry up there and we're under phase 1 forest restrictions. May close it soon. DM
