The "ding" doesn't look nearly as bad as I was expecting. The shop should be able to polish that out pretty easily.

Actually, as I posted to the RKS Forum, I was able to fix the significant ding, and it is now back to pre-damaged condition. The sixth photo shows the affected area, which now looks rounded and polished.

Is it correct to say that the large Sasquatch is only available in carbon steel? Only the small comes in both steel types?

The Large Sasquatch, due to its blade stock thickness, is available only in carbon steel. And, the Small Sasquatch is available only in stainless steel.
