Postman dropped off a package today! Its my first tweener, and a new BK 16! I've gone against getting a tweener for a long time, and finally couldn't fight it anymore. I had to see for myself. So here she is...

And i have to say, im very disappointed in... you guys. I put off buying this thing for a long time because i have big hands and there is so much talk about people with big hands not liking it. Well, i wear at least xl (2xl when available) gloves, and wear a size 15 wedding band so thick fingers. This thing feels awesome in hand. i can see where some say the top side could be a little thicker, but i think ill try some liners and go from there. Im really impressed. To me, its easily more comfortable then any of my other similarly sized knives.

Nice score! I've decided that my next Becker is gonna be the 16. Just looks like such a great blade. Your pics aren't helping. ;)

Are you sure that's not a 14??? That thing looks tiny in those bear claws! :D

Thanks for the nice words guys..... Of the knives I have designed the 16 is one of the ones I like the most.......The Necker, the Two the Nine and the Sixteen are the ones I think will stand the test of time if, any of them do........ They all work well and the quality ain't bad at all.......

Ordered one myself, even with my regular hands. Probably use that more than my 2 until I have the time to thin the scales a bit... Camillus grip is too big for my hands. Really looking forward to it. Congrats on your new steel!

The only person that really complains about the handle is Dubz, and it's because he's a delicate flower. Slap some liners on there and it will turn it from a great knife into "THE" knife pretty quickly.

If you are referring to the Camillus era grivory, there are several members that would gladly trade you a set of the newer, thinner Kabar grivory for your older scales. Murph and 1066vik are the first two that come to mind.

I've always said it was a very comfortable knife -- but liners (or thicker than factory wood scales) make it glorious.

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into it.

Very nice, a 16 is on my future list of Beckers to add to the collection. Love the feel of the 17 so I know I will love the 16 too! >:)
