Straight from the Critter, all Doug Ritter knives from Knifeworks have,

FREE SHIPPING!!!! except the CRKT series, so, for those of you that have been looking to get a Doug Ritter MKII Perseverance, or any other Doug Ritter knife, now the time, as you don't pay for the ride.

Good luck, and good hunting, not sure how long this will last, but it is going on RIGHT NOW!!!!

Any chance for a contest for one of these bad boys some time?

I've seen most of the other Becker knives out there, but not this one.

Doug has had a few contests of sorts, but nothing Beckerheadish that i recall. we don't have quite the same access to those knives as we do with Ethan/KaBar for contest purposes.

if Doug wants to do up a Beckerhead challenge and offer one of his knives (or many types) hey, cool too.

there have been more than a few reviews of the knife here though, good stuff.

With Critter and Knifeworks doing spring runs of 100, I doubt it.

But I'll tell ya'll what, if 30 of ya'll buy a Ritter knife from Knifeworks and get free shipping on it, I'll personally see that a MKII Perseverance goes up on the contest block. Sound good?

Ah, I didn't know they only made them in spring runs of 100. That makes much more sense now.

That said, I have seen the amazing reviews, and thats why I was wondering about them. I'd love to spend the cash for one right now, but that will have to wait until after graduation when I have money :).

Sadly, I have a severe aversion to needles.

Laugh all you want, but the two things i've allowed myself to continue to be afraid of till this day are needles, and brussel sprouts.

Its weird though, I'm fine with knives, fine when I get cut, and or injured in other ways... but the concept of something sticking in me and sucking stuff out gives me the heebie jeebies.
