A Lahar and a Leek Damascus if you can snag one.

A JunkYardDog II for sure and one of the Williams folders because its a classic already.

Those are my votes with a very high honorable mention for the Gents Lockback which is as fine an example of Moki Japan craftsmanship as I've ever seen. STR

Alright! A Kershaw Forum.

Now Mrs. OP can be upset about both Busse and Kershaw purchases! A handy new pastime for her...

W - you really should get the JYDII. I'm very happy with mine. A nice design with some very pleasant features. Oh...and it cuts well, too.

Yup, lots of money will be spent!

I bought another Kershaw before I was halfway through typing my first post to the new forum!

If you like the Speed Bump, you might look into the 1596SVBL. Its a speed bump with G-10 scales. Still see them on ebay.

The NRG will be very nice when it comes out. The Lahar's sweet too. As already mentioned, the JYDII is an amazing knife, especially for the price. Feels nice in the hand.

just hope guys that i marry a girl who loves knives too. especially kershaw! (hey they have the pink leek and pink chive.....why couldn't it work?)

It can be a blessing and a curse. I got my girlfriend a black scallion a while back, she loved it and EDC'd it (most of her jeans are worn out where the knife goes). Then she started borrowing my SAK, all the time, so I got her one of the Cybertool versions. There's a pocket in her purse that looks like it was made for it. Then I picked up a Mini Mojito (Mojo at the time) and even though she had her Scallion she kept conveniently forgetting it, so she would have to borrow the Mojito. So I ended up getting her a Mojito. Now she alternates between the Scallion and the Mojito daily. She hasn't asked to borrow the Spec Bump...yet. She wants a bigger knife, but she hasn't found a 3" blade she likes yet. We made a deal, anything bigger than that, and she'll get a concealed carry license. Feeding one knife habit is tough, two - ouch.

lol. that bites man. i'll have to make some sorta deal when the time comes. i do see what you mean, when the girl budget combines with the knife budget...............

I've been a mostly Spyderco guy when it comes to modern folders, but recently I acquired a Leek and Groove. I really like both designs and I see myself buying more Kershaws in the future. Right now I'm looking at Leek variations, the Needs Work and the Junkyard Dawgs. Those and I might have to pick up a Speed Bump to replace the Spec Bump I traded. I prefer Sandvik steels to S30V anyways, so works out good for me.

hey guys. in about 2 weeks i am going to my knife shop and going on a kershaw shopping spree. here is what is on my list.......

1. the G10 Offset
2. baby boa
3. that new earth brown blur (even if i have to order it in).
4. spec bump
5. mini mojito

considering funds are limited, this will have to do for now. anything i should sub for something else (everything but the first 2 are open for change)?
