That pattern looks like it would actually be very effective. It looks like the grooves would keep your hand from sliding forward to the blade or to the rear of the handle. It's also kind of soothing... Especialy when mixed with bourbon. I think it's saying "I want a trip to Hawaii, please send me on a vacation..." Send it on out, I won't charge a thing for room and board. I just want to hold her.. and love her... and kiss her... I'll send you this empty whiskey bottle in trade.
