This knife looks familiar to anyone?

My friend bought this knife and sent me photos of it. Does this knife look familiar to anyone? There's a stamp on the sheath. And what do you think of the knife? Pakistani trash or something decent? It looks like a convex grind (I am not sure) in the photos.

He bought it secondhand from someone. The person he bought it from has no information about the knife.

interesting design, fit and finish a little rough, but I guess the only way to tell is put it to use.
