I picked this knife up on a whim. Since its introduction I had a very (eh) type of thought on it. The steel is not exciting. The scales arnt exciting. It is thin and lightweight. I started it into the rotation to try it out. Then I started using it. Hey this thing is a really really good knife!! Cold Steel Air Lite. Tanto blade. It feels like a very strong bugout. Aus10 blade steel, triad lock and black G10. It just works. It's so damn good. I find myself reaching for it a bunch. I just got the PM2 tanto in m4, but honestly im carrying this Air Lite more. Haha. Girlfriend got that PM2 for Valentine's day for me. She got it off secondary. I was like well okay then lol
 
i have one of these knives, the tanto version. think Demko designed it.

You should keep that girl! You seem to like tanto, and m4 is ..... an impressive and not so common steel in a pm2.
 
Yes. Well I told her I liked the PM2 and didn't have one in my collection. She said if you want one you want a special steel right? She knew if i got one i wanted some special run... Boom!

It’s impressive she got you that version let alone knew where to find one via secondary market. Congrats.

As for the cold steel, it’s a great blade for the $$$. The perfect budget beater that’ll serve you and your children after.

I recently bought both versions of the Air Lite.

I find the handle ergonomics to be superior to the Code 4.
 
She also has bought me a Benchmade Super freak, Benchmade limited edition Grizzly Ridge, Cold Steel AD10, And a Kizer lancer 2.

GCG -- Yeah im carrying the Code 4 spear point as my user today. Had to get under that stiff clip lol Got it sorted out.
