My usual EDC is a Dozier fixed blade and once in a while a Spyderco folder.

I just picked up the Sebenza 21 today...wow, what a nice knife. It may take over as my full-time EDC.

I just got the micarta 21. It's awesome. Would love to have the plain version as well. Is this your first Sebenza? They are something special. Love Dozier's too but have never owned one. He was a jerk when I met him at Knifemakers Guild show in 2004.

I actually did have one many years ago, but it was no more than a week and I never used it or carried it and traded it off. So I do consider this my first one. It wont be traded, just carried and used.

Too bad Bob Dozier came across that way to you. I have met him a few times, he always sets up at the large Tulsa Gunshow which is in town twice a year. He is polite and spends plenty of time talking to his customers. Once in a blue moon AG Russell will be there with him as well and also talks with customers.

I do hope you get another chance to meet him and it goes better. Dozier knives are well worth owning.

I think it had something to do with him seeing me as too young to be looking at his knives. He said "That's a grown man's knife" and it was a small knife. I was 17 or 18 at the time. It was just rude. I said "Fine, I'll go see who else wants my three hundred dollars."

I don't know if it's the lighting or what, but your screws seem much more reflective and polished than mine. Weird, but pretty
